What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Maintenance Technician position at Contractors Inc?
Contractors Incorporated, a Crane Renovation Group Company, is a specialty building services company that provides capital, renovation and restoration projects to the multi-family housing industry. The company provides all types of maintenance and repair, including painting, roofing, carpentry, siding, and fire restoration.
We are seeking a hands-on Service Technician, to be based in Memphis, TN.
Purpose: Helps to complete daily work orders for customers while growing the relationships in the local market.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Completes work orders as assigned by office staff
2. Assures all assigned jobs are completed on time and within budget
3. Fills out and turns in monthly truck inspections for vehicles within the service department
4. Reports and communicates the progression and position of each assigned job
5. Assigns all credit card, Home Depot/ Lowes transactions to the appropriate job number
6. Maintains service tools and equipment
7. Helps to maintain and grow the level of customer relations with all CI customers
8. Conducts themselves professionally
Qualification/Competencies:
1. OSHA requirements as it applies to position (TBD).
2. High School Diploma/GED (preferred not required)
3. Excellent people skills and the ability to establish working relationships with coworkers, subcontractors, and customers.
4. Highly motivated and self-starting.
5. Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced work environment.
6. Prioritizing in regards to meeting deadlines and customer service.
7. Construction experience
8. Basic computer skills/knowledge
