Essential Responsibilities:
The role of our Parts and Service Advisor is to assist our service team in providing the best experience for our customers while serving our technician team. This is a full-time role. Duties include, although not limited to:
- Coordinate with technicians for basic troubleshooting of equipment, rental fleet tracking and readiness including ensuring machines are prepped in a timely manner for rentals
- Open workorders in a timely manner, editing as needed
- Provide parts for technicians to ensure technicians parts needs are ordered and delivered/provided to technicians in a timely manner
- Interact with customers for all parts needs
- Place and track parts orders for Middletown
- Interact with customers and their mechanics on scheduling shop and field service work
- Coordinate and maintain service schedule. Effectively communicating the service schedule to the technicians
- Contacting customers to solicit service work and parts sales
- Maintain a strong workload for the service team
- Assist in maintaining service and maintenance records for fleet and customer equipment by utilizing the CDK business system. System training will be provided.
- Anything else as requested by management
Required Experience / Qualifications:
- 3 years of related experience
- Must be able to read and understand parts and technical diagrams, service and maintenance manuals
- Heavy equipment experience is strongly preferred, but our team is willing to provide manufacturer specific training as needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude, team spirit, and a strong work ethic are all required
- Ability to prioritize
- Great customer relation skills
- Attention to detail and dedication to performing at your best every day
- A pre-employment drug screen is required
