Product Engineer
As a key member of our engineering team, you'll take ownership of all dimensional aspects and tooling related to the investment casting process. Partnering with a Process Engineer, you'll engineer the highest yields at the lowest overall cost, exceeding all customer quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Design,build,and implement manufacturing tooling.
- Optimize casting dimensional yields while minimizing production costs.
- Create routing and processing instructions for castings.
- Develop and debug production and development casting processes.
- Conduct and qualify first article inspections for new parts.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for existing processes.
- Provide technical support and address customer concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field,or equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience reading and interpreting technical documents and drawings.
- Proficiency in writing concise reports and instructions.
- Ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences.
- Strong mathematical skills for data analysis and problem-solving.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Investment casting experience.
- SolidWorks and NX CAD proficiency.
- Minitab/statistics knowledge and strong Excel skills.
- Technical manufacturing experience.
- Tooling design and/or dimensional inspection/Metrology experience.
