Leasing Agent/Assistant Manager

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing processes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining strong relationships with tenants. This position requires a blend of customer service skills, property management knowledge, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks efficiently.

Duties

• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective residents.
• Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, including data entry and contract preparation. And, follow up with new residents, ensuring a positive experience.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, inquiries, and lease agreements in Yardi.
• Assist with property maintenance requests and coordinate with facilities management as needed.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with current residents to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Address residents concerns and conflicts effectively while ensuring compliance with property and company policies.
• Stay informed about local rental market trends and property management regulations, including LIHTC guidelines.
• Collaborate with the property management team to implement marketing strategies for vacant properties.
• Supportive administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in property leasing or property management is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on relationship building.
• Excellent conflict management abilities to resolve resident issues amicably.
• Proficient in data entry (Yardi) and administrative tasks related to leasing operations.
• Knowledge of facilities management principles is a plus.
• Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations is desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.58 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
