What are the responsibilities and job description for the STOCKROOM CLERK position at Control Chief Corporation?
SUMMARY: This position will have the responsibility for the overall operation and coordination of activities pertaining to the stockroom. This individual will be accountable for the accuracy of inventory levels, transaction details and organizational layout of the stockroom.
The duties will include:
- Picking parts for all job orders
- Distributing parts to the proper work center
- Receiving into inventory all parts received by purchasing
- Receiving into inventory all jobs processed from Quality Control
- Picks parts for Sales orders
- Miscellaneous issuing of parts to Engineering, Product Service etc
- Perform Computer Data entry for all incoming and outgoing transactions
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Have the ability to carry work materials and associated parts short distances.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to manage several activities at the same time in this fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
