Cleaning Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Cleaning Tech will be scheduled from 5:30pm- 10:30pm Monday- Friday and play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for both employees and visitors. This position involves various custodial tasks, including industrial cleaning, floor care, and facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties including cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized.
• Respond promptly to any cleaning emergencies or special requests from management.
• Support residential painting projects when required.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of floor care processes including buffing and waxing.
• Ability to perform basic facilities maintenance tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
