What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Director of Tax position at Control Risks?
What You'll Do:
The Director of Tax will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Group tax strategy, ensuring adherence to the Tax Policy approved by the Board.
Additionally:
- Lead the Group tax function.
- Develop, implement and maintain a robust international tax strategy for the Group.
- Provide commercial tax support and advice to the business and executive.
- Provide support to Partners on personal tax matters related to their employment at Control Risks.
- Monitor and advise on the Group’s tax position with a thorough understanding of international tax issues and risks.
- Ensure regular, accurate and timely tax forecasting.
- Ensure that tax risk is managed appropriately across all jurisdictions and transactions, including employee mobility.
- Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect taxes, including timely and accurate completion of all tax returns and submissions across the Group.
- Operate effective and compliant policies that mitigate tax risk and exposure.
- Responsible for the Group Transfer Pricing Policy.
- Maintain robust tax governance across the Group and ensure that local Finance teams adhere to the group tax policy.
- Responsible for all aspects of tax delivery around the Group and UK subsidiary audits.
- Responsible for managing the Groups relationships with tax authorities and external tax advisors.
- Develop and coach a high performing and collaborative Group Tax team.
