Essential Tasks : Execution of cargo surveys and issue of reports Superintending Liquid cargoes Superintending Bulk, Breakbulk, and Containerized cargoes Sampling Bulk Cargoes Liaison with personnel of CU offices / surveyors / subcontractors / vessel agents / terminals for execution of orders Handling and recording of samples Check and verify documentation received from CU offices / field surveyors / subcontractors for accuracy Email / mail / courier necessary documentation / samples Schedule personnel to ensure various jobs are staffed properly Handle customer feedback and issues Track and approve employee hours and expenses Coordinating and booking travel arrangements Liaison with other port managers to efficiently utilize labor Identifying training needs Monitoring and training of field personnel Purchasing and maintenance of equipment Maintain port, office, and employee inventory None - Essential Tasks as a Port Manager : Implementation of revised or new standards in the organization and manuals To ensure the best communication and collaboration with clients, other departments / offices, and stakeholders Responsible for the hiring of employees and writing up disciplinary forms when necessary Conducting training and general meetings
