Essential Tasks:
- Execution of cargo surveys and issue of reports
- Superintending Liquid cargoes
- Superintending Bulk, Breakbulk, and Containerized cargoes
- Sampling Bulk Cargoes
- Liaison with personnel of CU offices/surveyors/subcontractors/vessel agents/terminals for execution of orders
- Handling and recording of samples
- Check and verify documentation received from CU offices/field surveyors/subcontractors for accuracy
- Email /mail/courier necessary documentation/samples
- Schedule personnel to ensure various jobs are staffed properly
- Handle customer feedback and issues
- Track and approve employee hours and expenses
- Coordinating and booking travel arrangements
- Liaison with other port managers to efficiently utilize labor
- Identifying training needs
- Monitoring and training of field personnel
- Purchasing and maintenance of equipment
- Maintain port, office, and employee inventory
