About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic II to join our team in Yuma, AZ. As a Mechanic II, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment. Your work will directly contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our transportation contract. You will work closely with other mechanics and team members to ensure that all repairs are completed in a timely and effective manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years experience being a mechanic.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Diesel engine repair 2 years
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• ASE Certification
• Mechanical Knowledge
• Analyzing information

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical problems.
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
• Ensure that all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Skills:

As a Mechanic II, you will use your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical issues. You will also use your communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other mechanics and team members to ensure that all repairs are completed safely and efficiently. Additionally, you will use your attention to detail and record-keeping skills to maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed. Your ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics will be essential to your success in this role. Finally, your experience with diesel engines, forklifts, and refrigeration systems will be highly valued.
