The Installation Technician is accountable to the Installation Manager and is tasked with a range of HVACR installation duties for residential customers.

Reporting to the Installation Manager, the Installation Technician plays a crucial role in executing HVACR installation tasks for residential clients. Responsibilities:
The role demands individuals with traits such as decisiveness, initiative, tact, judgment, integrity, dependability, and the ability to communicate credibly in a technical manner. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating within ad hoc Installation Department teams to efficiently conduct HVACR installation jobs.
- Independently performing routine HVACR installation activities.
- Assisting Senior Installation Technicians in training new team members on installation-related topics, including callback prevention and installation protocols.
- Engaging in point-of-work sales of Indoor Air Quality services, unit components, replacements, add-ons, and referrals for the sales team.
- Supporting the IAQ and Service Departments as assigned.
- Undertaking additional duties as directed by the Installation Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma and completion of a post-secondary HVACR program lasting two or more years.
- At least one year of successful full-time HVACR experience as a service or commercial installation technician.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interpret and apply manufacturers' installation instructions.
- Physical capability to perform all duties under various conditions, including extreme weather.
- Interest and initiative in maintaining HVACR skills through self-study, company training, workshops, and professional development activities.
- Willingness to learn point-of-service sales techniques, including developing sales leads and conducting sales of unit replacements, add-ons, IAQ services, and service contracts.
- Possession of a valid state operator's license and the ability to operate all types of vehicles in the corporate fleet within 30 days of employment.
- Insurability by the company's insurance carrier.
- Ability to work efficiently under time pressures, varying schedules, extreme weather conditions, and customer demands.
Salary : $24 - $35
