Position Title & Basic Details
Were looking for an Electrical Engineer based in the United States. This is a Full-Time position requiring 8 years of relevant experience. A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.
Overview
In this role, youll be responsible for performing load list calculations, coordinating with clients to determine how facilities will be powered, and preparing RFQ packages for various electrical equipment. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in SKM or ETAP for Arc Flash, Load Flow, and Short Circuit analysis and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems for projects involving transformers, LV gear, MV gear, MCC Buildings, breakers, switches, and substation equipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during project execution.
Follow best practices and stay current on industry trends to continuously improve outcomes.
Requirements
Education : Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Technical Expertise : Proficiency in SKM or ETAP; familiarity with battery farms, solar farms, and power plants using Wartsilla units is a plus.
Experience : Minimum 8 years working in Midstream projects.
Soft Skills : Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with battery farms, solar farms, and power plants using Wartsilla units.
Ability to travel throughout the United States for site walkdowns and electrical reviews.
Strong client-facing skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
