Job Summary
The International Customer Service Representative processes orders and interfaces with customers all over the world.
Specific duties of the position include:
- Receiving, pricing, entering, and confirming customer orders;
- Providing pre-sales information to customers including pricing and product information, as well as updates throughout the sales process in both English and Spanish;
- Processing non-sale customer transactions such as literature requests, returned goods, and miscellaneous shipments;
- Filing customer orders and invoices;
- Supporting sales and marketing staff as directed; and
- Any collateral duties assigned at the supervisor’s discretion.
Job Prerequisites
The International Customer Service Representative position requires the following education, experience, and skills:
- Prior customer service experience in a similar environment using a computer-based order entry system;
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Basic business math skills; and
- Excellent English and Spanish verbal and written skills.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear including regular telephone use. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers. The job requires prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Work Environment
The position requires daily attendance at CONCOA headquarters in Virginia Beach. Light travel may be required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee functions in a typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
