What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Buyer position at ControlWorx, LLC?
- Works with detailed historic data to determine order quantities
- Evaluates discount opportunities when purchasing
- Generates new purchase orders to meet ordering requirements
- Tracks purchase orders and deals with delivery and stock issues
- Assists Managers with the monitoring and evaluation of slow, dead, and excess inventory
- Assists with periodic inventory counts and participate in annual full physical count
- Assists with inventory management activities as needed, including implementing process enhancements to streamline the replenishment function
- Maintains job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
- This job is demanding in terms of knowledge skills, commitment, and all other job-related qualifications. Urgency and pressure for prompt, accurate results are routine. Multi-tasking and the ability to handle and manage interruptions is expected.
- Regular and predictable attendance is essential for this position.
