What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Specialist position at Contruent LLC?
As a professional in the Contruent Contracts team, you will be a part of a team that provides an integrated approach to the contract management lifecycle, automation, data and document management that help our sales, accounting and services teams maximize strategic value to the organization. You will work closely with both internal and external customers while helping to streamline the procurement process and increase efficiency; leveraging numerous applications. As a Contract Specialist, you will contribute to the growth and success of Contruent in a variety of ways, including:
Client Management: Participate in interactions with client's project/procurement team members and Contruent leadership.
Proposals: Work with sales teams to produce proposals, RFP responses, SOW’s and client specific requirements and goals.
Contracts: Work with the leadership team to draft, review, negotiate, execute and manage a variety of contract documents including Subscription Services Agreements, MSA’s, PO’s and NDA’s.
Procurement: Manage partner agreements including teaming agreements, subcontractor agreements, task orders, reseller/OEM agreements, purchase orders, invoice coding/approvals.
Project Management: Assist with project management tasks, such as creating workplans, tracking budgeted time to actual hours incurred, status reports, invoice approvals, participating in status calls and project controls.
Export Compliance: Understand, review and participate in the Export Compliance Policies as defined internally and required by law.
Security and Policy Compliance: Understand, review and help to ensure that Contruent follows laws, regulations, industry best practices and ethical standards in pursuit of its goals and operations. .
Business Development: Participate in and contribute to sales, marketing and services teams combined efforts to support Customer Success.

What will Make You Successful (in other words, what we need to see):
· 1-3 years' experience with legal, procurement and/or accounting
· Minimum of Bachelor degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, supply chain, or information technology.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into contractual terms.
· Strong attention to details
· Client Facing Contract Negotiation (Software agreement experience preferred)
· Procurement/Vendor Management experience
· Experience with NetSuite or Salesforce is preferred
· ITAR/Export compliance experience is a plus
· ISO/SOC compliance experience is a plus
· Ability to work independently/prioritize tasks as needed
