The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Product Marketing Manager to own and elevate Product Marketing at Contruent. Reporting to the leadership team, this role is critical in defining, building, and leading Product Marketing as a function. As our first dedicated Product Marketing leader, you will shape how we tell our product’s story, sharpen our positioning, and ensure the full value of our platform is communicated effectively across all customer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
Product Storytelling & Messaging:
- Own the creation and delivery of clear, compelling product narratives that communicate customer outcomes over product features.
- Shift messaging from “what we did” (e.g., improved UI/UX) to “what our customers achieve” (e.g., solving problems faster and more effectively).
- Develop feature-based value creation stories that sharpen Contruent’s brand positioning as the leader in unified project controls and budgeting.
Driving Product Marketing as a Function:
- Define the purpose, scope, and goals of Product Marketing at Contruent, laying the foundation for a repeatable, scalable function.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure a consistent product story across regions and teams.
- Lead the creation of self-guided demos, product tours, and marketing assets that help prospects and customers experience value outside of the traditional sales process.
Sales Enablement & Demo Strategy:
- Own the development of consistent, high-impact product demos and tools that align with regional and team needs.
- Tear down and rebuild the current demo process to improve consistency, streamline sales cycles, and highlight core product value effectively.
- Empower the sales team with tools, training, and storytelling assets that improve win rates and shorten deal timelines.
Market Research & Feedback Loops:
- Gather insights on market trends, customer challenges, and competitive positioning to inform product marketing strategies.
- Serve as the voice of the customer, identifying key pain points and ensuring messaging aligns with market needs.
