The Role
The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting in addition to creating and maintaining robust processes. This role is integral to driving and ensuring accuracy and completeness of our financial records and will work closely with the Director of Accounting.
What You’ll Do :
- Execute and own the month-end and year-end closing processes (e.g. Cash, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Accruals, Leases etc.), ensuring timely and accurate reporting for all general ledger accounts.
- Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable / receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Work cross-functionally to understand and create new workflows and processes for complex areas of the business.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Coordinate and manage audits, liaising with external auditors and ensuring all required documentation is prepared.
- Assist with the implementation of various accounting technology software.
What You’ll Bring :
Salary : $103,000 - $160,000 a year. Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors, including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and location. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for stock options. We offer comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, unlimited paid time off, and matching 401k.
