What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Mobile Phlebotomist position at ConveLabs Premium Mobile Lab Services?
ConveLabs is expanding, and we are looking for a Lead Mobile Phlebotomist to be the foundation of our growing team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, independent phlebotomist who thrives in a mobile setting and is ready to pioneer our mobile lab services. As the first Lead Phlebotomist, you will be critical in patient care, process improvement, and training future hires as we expand.
As a Lead Mobile Phlebotomist, you will:
✔ Perform mobile blood draws at patients homes or offices and corporate wellness events
✔ Ensure proper specimen collection, labeling, and transport following Quest Diagnostics & LabCorp guidelines
✔ Deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining professionalism and efficiency
✔ Manage appointment scheduling and travel logistics
✔ Maintain inventory of phlebotomy supplies and ensure compliance with safety regulations
✔ Work closely with leadership to refine and improve mobile phlebotomy processes
✔ Train and mentor future hires as we build out the mobile team
Reliable transportation is required for travel between patient locations.
Compensation & Requirements
Pay: $30 per house visit tips
Required Equipment: The only required purchases are a centrifuge, a mobile phlebotomy bag to carry supplies, and a pen or Sharpie.
Insurance: Must carry phlebotomy liability insurance

Qualifications:
Certified Phlebotomist (CPT, RPT, or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years of mobile phlebotomy experience
Experience with Quest Diagnostics & LabCorp test requirements
Ability to work independently and lead by example
Reliable transportation & valid driver’s
Comfortable using mobile scheduling & reporting apps and mandatory background checks.
Bonus: Experience in home health, wellness screenings, or corporate health events is a plus!
