Supply Chain Supervisor

Due to Conventus Polymers growth, we have a new and exciting opportunity for the right candidate to lead our Supply Chain Team.

SUMMARY: The Supply Chain Supervisor will lead a team of supply chain personnel across Customer Service, Purchasing, & Logistics. This role is to ensure that processes are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness while meeting company goals and objectives. The Supply Chain Supervisor is also responsible for the Demand Planning function for the company.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor supply chain staff, providing training and support to enhance skills and performance.
• Ensure that company processes are followed, and the expected service levels are maintained.
• Support each of the functions within supply chain to take proactive measures and mitigate potential issues.
• Provide additional oversight to ensure key customer accounts receive exceptional service.
• Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels, while minimizing excess, in coordination with Product Line Management.
• Confirm stocking agreements and blanket orders have the appropriate stock on hand.
• Guide transportation and distribution operations to follow company policy and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Utilize forecasting tools to anticipate demand and adjust supply chain strategies accordingly in coordination with PLM and VP of Finance and Accounting
• Assist with overflow and potential backfill for Purchasing, Customer Service and Logistics
• Analyze supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
• Utilize data and metrics to track performance and make informed decisions.
• Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance, inventory levels, and logistics metrics to senior management
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to supply chain operations.
• Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols.

Require Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work appropriate experience required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel
• Ability to adapt to an evolving environment
• Strong supervisory/leadership skills
• Requires a high level or organization and ability to prioritize
• Strong analytical skills
• Displays a sense of urgency
• Proven ability to work well within a team and promote strong working relationships while maintaining a professional attitude and positive outlook
• Capacity to produce a large quantity of error free work in a timely fashion
• Experience in distribution and supply chain a strong plus
• Prior experience with Epicor a plus

Physical Requirements: This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, filing and repacking of a maximum of 55lb boxes/bags is required. This would require the ability to lift boxes and files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary

Work Environment: This job will operate on-site at HQ in Parsippany, NJ.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
