Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and engineering of water and wastewater facility projects. In this role, you will serve as the lead electrical engineer on select projects, providing technical expertise and guidance while ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical engineering efforts, including industrial power design for medium and low voltage systems, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, and equipment layouts.
- Supervise and mentor less experienced team members on projects.
- Coordinate with engineers from other disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions.
- Conduct field inspections of completed installations to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
- Perform site visits for condition assessments and design requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- 5–10 years of experience in industrial electrical engineering and design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience in SKM and/or ETAP software.
- Working knowledge of Revit BIM software.
- Strong understanding of the NEC and related codes.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and project teams.
- Ability to obtain licensure in additional states as requested.
