Converge Resources is actively seeking an IT Project Manager for a long term contract (1-2 years) to lead and manage software-based implementation projects, with a primary focus on deploying a Control Room Manager software package. This role requires a hands-on, proactive individual who can effectively oversee project timelines, manage sprints, and maintain Gantt charts to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of IT Project Management experience, with a strong background in software application implementation (CRM, ERP, ETRM, SaaS, etc)sprint.
- Expertise in managing 2-week sprints, creating and maintaining Gantt charts, and managing project schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a proactive, go-getter attitude.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and project lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Control Room Management software or similar systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with IT software deployment processes and project lifecycle management.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end implementation of a Control Room Manager software package (60% of workload).
- Oversee the deployment of additional IT software packages, providing light PM support as needed.
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Gantt charts.
- Plan and manage 2-week sprints, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and communication.
- Drive agile project management processes, ensuring regular updates, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, timelines, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to align project goals with organizational objectives.
