An oil & gas midstream company is seeking a Measurement Analyst for a contract assignment in Houston, TX . This role is ideal for professionals with FlowCal expertise, SCADA knowledge, and a strong background in measurement operations .
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee, validate, and troubleshoot the acquisition, processing, and retention of measurement data in compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Utilize FlowCal (v8.10) and SCADA tools to analyze liquid measurement data, detect discrepancies, and resolve data flow issues from field devices to measurement editing databases.
- Perform weekly and monthly field balancing , investigate imbalances, and take corrective actions.
- Ensure the accuracy of monthly closing data , generate reports, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for measurement-related requests.
- Participate in system testing for upgrades , troubleshoot measurement system issues, and document best practices for operational efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve data acquisition issues , ensuring all measurement systems function optimally.
