Job Description : Junior .NET Web Developer

Location : Dallas, TX

Position Type : Temp-to-Hire

Industry : Utilities

We are seeking a Junior .NET Web Developer to join our team at a reputable Utility company in Dallas. This role is an excellent opportunity for a developer eager to grow their skills in web and database development while contributing to meaningful projects in the utilities sector.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain web applications using the .NET framework and C#.
  • Design and optimize SQL databases, including writing complex queries and stored procedures.
  • Build user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement functional requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
  • Maintain code quality through version control systems such as Git.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework for web application development.
  • Solid experience with SQL , including query optimization and database design.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML , CSS , JavaScript , and AJAX .
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git .
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as React , Angular , or Vue.js .
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and web service integrations.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud platforms like Azure or AWS .

    • Education Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , Software Engineering , or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience and certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
