Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated Structural Engineer to specialize in structural inspections and Structural Integrity Reserve Studies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing the condition of existing structures, preparing comprehensive reports, and conducting reserve studies to ensure the long-term reliability and safety of residential, commercial, and high-rise buildings.
Key Responsibilities :
- Structural Inspections : Perform detailed inspections of commercial, residential, and high-rise structures to evaluate their condition and identify potential issues.
- Reserve Studies : Conduct Structural Integrity Reserve Studies to assess long-term maintenance needs and develop capital expenditure forecasts.
- Condition Assessments : Analyze and document the performance and deterioration of structural systems, including concrete, steel, and masonry components.
- Documentation & Reporting : Prepare thorough inspection reports, including photos, findings, and recommendations for repairs or maintenance.
- Compliance & Safety : Ensure all inspections and studies comply with applicable building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Client Communication : Provide clear, concise updates and explanations to clients, including building owners, property managers, and stakeholders.
- Collaboration : Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure practical, cost-effective solutions for structural repairs or upgrades.
- Site Visits : Conduct field visits to oversee structural repairs and ensure compliance with recommendations and specifications.
