Converge Resources is actively seeking a 100% remote Substation Designer for a leading Engineering & Consulting Firm in the Power / Utilities sector.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in designing power delivery systems, with experience leading large, complex projects. Candidates should be proficient in industry-standard design practices, codes, and regulations, and possess strong project management skills, ensuring designs meet client needs, quality standards, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications :
- At least 5 years of experience designing power delivery systems. A college degree in electrical engineering, design, or a related discipline is preferred, but not required.
- Proven track record of successfully executing large and complex power delivery projects, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise.
- In-depth knowledge of industry-standard design practices, codes, and regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is essential.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
