Position Description
This exciting opportunity is a full-time, permanent position with Converge Technology Solutions. The Cybersecurity Solution Specialist will develop productive relationships with new and existing clients, while providing sales overlay support and consultation in their territory. To be successful as a Solution Specialist at Converge, you should be a self-starter with hunting ambition and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You should have experience in developing sales leads from initial contact to successful closure to contribute to business growth. At the end of the day, you are helping your clients secure their most essential systems and data from malicious cyber actors by providing best of breed cybersecurity products & services. Our ideal candidate has security overlay experience and comes from a cybersecurity value added reseller (VAR) and / or cybersecurity professional services / systems integrator firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a go-to cybersecurity selling resource to non-cybersecurity sellers; advising their clients on our best of breed products and services
- Hunt for new opportunities by utilizing existing relationships, cold reach-out, industry events, etc
- Build trusted advisor relationships with clients
- Identify and understand client's cybersecurity concerns and how Converge will mitigate those risks
- Develop, prepare and deliver sales proposals, presentations and quotes for cybersecurity products & services
- Work with the internal partnerships team to deliver OEM product proposals, close cybersecurity product business (ex : Crowdstrike, SentinelOne, Zscaler, Palo Alto, etc)
- Build, negotiate and sell complex service deals
- Document all client activities within Converge's CRM
