Position Title : Project Manager
Position Location : Remote
Position Overview : The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple small, medium, and large customer-facing engagements from receiving the signed SOW to completion of services across all Converge practice groups.
Position Responsibilities :
- Prerequisite and product tracking
- Review SOW and complete initial planning activities
- Implement and manage ITIL-based service management frameworks to ensure seamless service delivery
- Work with resource managers to assign project resources
- Conduct internal and external project kick off calls w / slide deck
- Conduct internal and external weekly status meetings
- Create and maintain the weekly status report template for each project
- Track task completion %, budget, scope changes, schedule, issues, risks
- Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Monitor and report on cost metrics, driving accountability and cost efficiency across the project portfolio.
- Identify opportunities to optimize resource allocation and financial performance across cloud services and IT infrastructure.
- Create and maintain the project plan
- Ensure milestone billing notifications are sent to accounting
- Approve project timesheets and invoices
- Consistently complete weekly update of PSA tool project status, status notes, start / end dates
- Update and maintain project technical resource schedules / bookings in the PSA tool
- Attend weekly project review meeting to discuss / provide updates to management on projects in progress
- Conduct project close out meeting and lessons learned meeting
- Manage service transition, including knowledge transfer, operational readiness, and handover processes for ongoing support
- Submit customer surveys
- PSA administrative closeout
- Consistently achieve project management utilization targets
