Job Duties
Your job will include working as a member of the hourly shift operations team to accomplish the following:
- Convert industrial products into a fuel pellet to be used as a coal substitute.
- Safely produce the quantity and quality of fuel pellets required by our customers.
- Operate within a self managed team in order to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.
- Operation of the company's pellet manufacturing equipment including: shredders, conveyors, pellet mills, loaders, forklifts, and pellet lab testing equipment.
- Perform minor maintenance work, as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Convergen pays 90% of the premiums, while other employers pay just 50-60% of the premiums.
For the Health Savings Account (HSA) health insurance plan, the company pays over 90% of the monthly premium and contributes over $60 a month to your HSA. All in all, this leads to employees paying less than 1% of the premium.

Work Schedule
Our work schedule is a 2-2-3 schedule of 12 hour shifts. This leads to employees working 3 days (36 hours) one week followed by 4 days (48 hours) the next week. Our 2-2-3 schedule will require our employees to be able to work nights, and every other weekend. Our night shift is 5:30 PM - 5:30 AM
