Responsibilities
Convergence is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join the Operations team. You will be responsible for managing a schedule for our Partner and working closely with all departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Coordinate with the Chief of Staff and Chief Operations Officer to ensure that the company runs smoothly by implementing daily operational strategies.
- Coordinate daily calendar and travel accommodations of the Partner.
- Act as an office manager by keeping up with office supply inventory.
- Work with department heads to accomplish daily tasks.
- Interface with industry leaders by helping maintain client relationships to ensure their needs are met.
- Ensuring that the company is up to date with all news coverage surrounding our clients and races.
- Spearhead company culture by helping to plan team building events and out of office gatherings.
- Ensure smooth communication across teams, distributing updates, coordinating briefings, and compiling meeting summaries.
- Be available to assist with quick-turnaround projects, especially during crunch times like debate nights, major news cycles, or GOTV pushes.
Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience as an Executive Assistant, Scheduler, Personal Assistant, or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to be proactive
- Critical thinker
- Detail-oriented and self-starter a must
- Quickly adapts to changing priorities and meets tight deadlines
- Discretion and confidentiality
