Job Title: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CVOR)
Location: Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, Buckhead, Georgia
Shift: 3 x 12 Hour Day Shifts, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Length of Contract: 98 Days
We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical First Assistant (CVOR) to join our team at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Buckhead, Georgia. As a key member of the surgical team, you will assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during complex surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
- Provide patient care and support throughout the perioperative period
- Maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Surgical First Assistant (SFA) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CVOR) or similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Physical stamina to perform duties that require prolonged standing, walking, and lifting
