Job Description:
Radiology MRI Technologist - 8 Hour Evening Shift
We are seeking a skilled Radiology MRI Technologist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
- Position patients correctly and safely on the scanner table
- Adjust scanning parameters as needed to ensure optimal image quality
- Monitor patients during scans and provide support and reassurance as needed
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and scan results
Requirements:
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (RT(MR))
- 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of MRI technology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
