Position Overview

Specialty : Cath Lab

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Monitor and assess patient vitals, administer moderate sedation, and ensure patient safety
  • Scrub in for vascular procedures and assist in equipment setup
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of current Cath Lab RN experience – REQUIRED
  • Interventional Radiology (IR) experience – REQUIRED
  • Monitoring Diagnostic Heart Cath, Scrub in for Vascular Procedures, Moderate Sedation Experience – REQUIRED
  • Current RN License, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or American Red Cross) – REQUIRED
  • Epic EMR knowledge – REQUIRED
  • Sensis Software experience – PREFERRED
  • 4x10 schedule must be followed
  • Prime Healthcare onboarding requirements :

    • Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam, Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening, Core Competencies Exam, Skills Checklist, Specialty Exam

  • Vaccinations : COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, TB Test, Varicella, Tdap
  • Professional Submissions : Nursys License Validation, Driver’s License, Background Check, Drug Screening, Color-Blind Test, I-9 Verification

    • Compensation

  • Estimated Pay Per Hour : $92
  • Weekly Stipend : $1,939 (Meals : $602, Lodging : $1,337)
  • Gross Weekly Pay : $3,420
  • Recruitment Bonus : $2,184 (based on a 13-week contract, prorated for shorter durations)
