Specialty : Labor & Delivery

Shift : Multiple Available

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and perform advanced fetal monitoring.
  • Assist in labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document care accurately using Meditech / CPN.
  • Float to other units as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum Experience : 2 years of hospital / specialty experience.
  • Certifications Required : ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
  • Licensure : Active TX RN License required (temporary licenses not accepted).
  • Other Requirements : Must be proficient in fetal monitoring.
  • Scheduling : 7P-7A shift, weekend and on-call requirements discussed during interview.
  • Patient Ratios : 1 : 2.
  • Dress Code : Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket; tattoos and piercings policies apply.
