What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Learning SETA position at Convergenz?
Duties :
Support the development and execution of new programs in support of a Program Manager.
Work closely with the PM as well as other technical support staff with expertise in a variety of technologies and disciplines.
Experience :
Strong background in statistical and machine learning techniques for high-dimensional data analysis.
Proven experience in training and developing machine learning models, including addressing challenges with data quality and variability.
Relevant work experience applying data science and machine learning techniques in the field of aging, biology, or healthcare, with a proven record of publications and / or in-depth work.
Strong understanding of programming languages used in bioinformatics (e.g., R, Python)
Strong understanding of high throughput screens and -omics analysis
Knowledge of one or more of the following areas : aging biology, healthspan metrics, biomarkers, and application of AI in electronic health records.
Experience with longitudinal cohort studies or clinical trial data analysis
Experience with biomarker discovery using omics
Excellent organizational skill and ability to multi-task
Analytical thinker and problem solver.
Min degree : PhD or MD degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Bioinformatics, Public Health, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, or a related discipline
