Job Title: Monitoring and Alerting Engineer (APM)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Monitoring and Alerting Engineer with expertise in Dynatrace and Cloudwatch (AWS). The ideal candidate will design and implement application performance monitoring (APM) solutions, manage thresholds for alerts, and work closely with application teams to address system issues. Experience with Datadog, Splunk, or similar tools is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain monitoring solutions using Dynatrace and Cloudwatch (AWS).
- Identify and configure alert thresholds for system performance and user error detection.
- Collaborate with application teams to troubleshoot and resolve CPU, memory, and route-related issues.
- Manage incidents, problem resolution, and ITIL processes, including change management.
- Provide forward-looking monitoring solutions, transitioning to AWS monitoring tools as required.
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience in application performance monitoring or related fields.
- Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field (counts as 2-3 years of experience).
- Hands-on experience with Dynatrace, Cloudwatch, Datadog, Splunk, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and incident management.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AWS X-Ray.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
