Job Description:
We are seeking a senior PeopleSoft Functional Consultant to support a PeopleSoft 9.1 to 9.2 upgrade. This role will serve as a functional thought leader, providing expertise in Absence Management and broader PeopleSoft functionalities. The consultant will play a critical role in decision-making, issue resolution, and ensuring smooth project execution during testing, dry runs, and production cutovers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance on PeopleSoft Absence Management and other functional areas.
- Assist with decision-making, issue resolution, and defect remediation throughout the upgrade process.
- Serve as a backup analyst during critical phases such as dry runs, cutover, and go-live events.
- Support and troubleshoot Pay Run processes, ensuring quick resolutions in case of failures.
- Proactively identify potential risks and challenges in the upgrade, database refreshes, and production transitions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Senior-level PeopleSoft Functional Lead experience, preferably with upgrade projects.
- Expertise in PeopleSoft Absence Management (highly preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and forward-looking approach.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, critical project environments and provide strategic insights.
- Experience supporting test cycles, dry runs, and production cutovers.
