We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to oversee monthly software release management processes and ensure the successful coordination of technical and operational tasks. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, business-savvy, and excels in communication and team engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly software release processes, focusing on code quality and executing manual regression testing while supporting automated JUnit tests.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams and users to coordinate environment changes.
- Serve as the point of contact for incident management, including communication, resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and define/implement new operational procedures.
- Participate in on-call support aligned with the Northern Virginia time zone.
Technical Skills:
- 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or Product Owner.
- Strong technical background with 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining Java/Python applications.
- Proficiency in Unix troubleshooting and Shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins for end-to-end build, test, deploy, and GIT/Artifactory integration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related engineering field (required).
- Strong experience with Jira (mandatory) and Confluence Wiki.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and Release Management practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders, including developers, product owners, and subject matter experts.
- Ability to research and adopt new methodologies and technologies to enhance team knowledge and processes.
Preferred:
- 3 years of experience in ServiceNow.
