Job Description
Cybersecurity Engineer I, plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and
availability of our clients' networks and information assets. This position requires a high level of
accuracy, professionalism, and technical proficiency within in the engineering department. This
role requires a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and methodologies to protect
systems and data against evolving threats.

Responsibilities :
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and address potential security weaknesses in systems, networks, and applications.
- Monitor security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and configuration of security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems, antivirus software, encryption tools, and access controls.
- Ensure that security measures are effectively integrated into the architecture and operation of IT systems.
- Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate security breaches, malware infections, and other cyber incidents.
- Conduct digital forensics analysis to determine the root cause of incidents and recommend remediation measures to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable security frameworks such as NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
- Provide cybersecurity awareness training to employees and end users to promote good security practices and mitigate human-related risks.
- Create educational materials and resources to support ongoing security awareness initiatives.
- Other duties assigned within reason of current role previously specified.
