The Director, Operations Process Optimization--International is responsible for leading the review, enhancement, and optimization of operational processes within the global applications such as ERP, CPQ, Project Management, and Field Services systems. This strategic role will drive operational efficiency by collaborating with functional teams, implementing data collection strategies, and ensuring seamless execution of process improvement initiatives. The director will also oversee program management for system-related process transformation and strategic initiatives that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Process Optimization & Applications Integration
- Lead the review and enhancement of operational process mapping within the global applications (e.g, ERP, CPQ, PM, Field Services systems) to improve efficiency and standardization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current processes, identify gaps, and implement best-in-class solutions.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize system workflows, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Oversee change management initiatives related to global application systems process improvements, ensuring smooth adoption across global operations.
Data Strategy & Process Improvement
Define and implement data collection and analysis strategies to support process optimization and decision-making.
- Partner with functional teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and availability for process improvements.
- Leverage analytics and reporting tools to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Program & Project Management
- Drive the execution of strategic programs and initiatives within the global application systems process optimization framework.
- Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout project lifecycles.
- Monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics to measure success and refine strategies as needed.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a key liaison between business leaders, technology, and operational teams to align global application systems enhancements with business needs.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance on best practices for operational process optimization.
- Build strong partnerships with regional and global teams to drive standardization and continuous improvement efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, technology, or a related field; MBA or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- 10 years of experience in operations process optimization, ERP systems, and program management in a global environment.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, NetSuite) and operational workflows.
- Proven experience leading teams, managing cross-functional projects, and driving process improvement initiatives.
- Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop strategies for operational efficiency.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and change management skills.
- Hands-on experience in business process reengineering and system integrations.
Location: U.S. Based, with significant international travel.
