What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

Be responsible for day-to-day operations and close processes, including preparation / review of journal entries, reconciliations, balance sheet and P&L variance analysis, monthly financial reporting, etc.
Manage accounting transactions and systems solutions to ensure accurate financial reporting
Partner with FP&A, Treasury, and other departments across all business channels as needed to properly analyze general ledger account activity
Review and analyze corporate general & administrative expenses by business unit
Explain and support monthly expense account variances versus prior year and budget
Provide analytical support in year-end audits as well as preparing audit working papers
Other ad-hoc responsibilities as required
What You’ll Need
Excellent knowledge of financial information analysis using spreadsheets, databases, and other financial reporting software.
Exceptional understanding of financial statements and the general ledger.
Outstanding planning and organizational skills; ability to meet tight deadlines.
Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university or college
Public accounting experience
Minimum of 1.5 years of accounting and / or audit experience (2 busy seasons)
CPA or progression toward CPA
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
Strong accounting knowledge, interpersonal skills and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to work in an organized manner and manage time efficiently and effectively
Exceptional understanding of financial statements and the general ledger
Preferred Qualifications :
Big Four audit experience
3-4 years of accounting and / or audit experience
Manufacturing or construction accounting experience
