About the role : As a Supply Chain Intern at Convergix Automation, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to our end-to-end supply chain operations. You will work closely with our supply chain team to support various functions, including procurement, production, logistics, and distribution. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in optimizing processes, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What would a typical day be like?

Assisting with procurement activities, including supplier management and contract negotiation
Supporting production planning and inventory management processes
Assisting with logistics coordination and tracking shipments
Analyzing supply chain data and identifying areas for improvement
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficiency
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and projects

What qualifies you for this opportunity?

Reliable transportation and an ability to travel

Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain / Engineering / Operations / Logistics

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Inquisitive / Quick Learning ability

Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Procurement, or similar field

Must graduate in December 2025 or later

Physical Demands :

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, talk and hear.

Specific vision abilities required for the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Occasionally lifts or move up to 25 pounds
