Principal Consultant - Energy & Utilities (Primavera Expertise)

JOB OVERVIEW:

• We are seeking a seasoned Principal Consultant with extensive expertise in Primavera P6, Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), and Oracle Utilities solutions such as Customer Care & Billing (CC&B), Customer to Meter (C2M), and Customer Cloud Service (CCS). This role is pivotal in driving technology strategy, process transformation, and solution delivery for clients in the Energy & Utilities sector.
• The ideal candidate will bring 10 years of experience in large transformation engagements, including 5 years of domain experience in energy and utilities and 5 years of consulting experience, with a proven track record in implementing and optimizing Primavera P6 solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Consulting Engagements: Partner with clients in the energy and utilities sector to assess their project management capabilities and deliver tailored solutions using Primavera P6. Provide strategic guidance to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
• Primavera P6 Implementation & Configuration: Lead end-to-end implementation of Primavera P6, ensuring seamless integration with organizational workflows. Conduct stakeholder workshops to gather requirements and deliver value-driven solutions.
• Process Design & Optimization: Evaluate existing project management practices and recommend process improvements leveraging industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
• System Customization & Integration: Design and configure Primavera P6 to address business needs, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity codes, resource pools, and reporting templates. Lead integrations with ERP, financial systems, and other enterprise platforms.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with client executives, project managers, and IT teams to ensure alignment between technical solutions and strategic goals.
• Training & Enablement: Deliver user training and create robust documentation to empower clients to maximize their Primavera P6 investments.
• Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends in energy and utilities, contributing to the development of methodologies and frameworks that enhance client outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

• 10 years of experience in large transformation engagements, including 5 years in energy and utilities with expertise in Oracle Utilities solutions (CC&B, C2M, CCS).
• 5 years of consulting experience, driving cross-functional and transformative projects.

Skills:

• Advanced expertise in Primavera P6 functionality, configuration, and implementation.
• Strong command of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• Primavera P6 Professional or EPPM Certification, Oracle Cloud ERP certifications.
