About the Role : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Consultant for Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service(WACS) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the functional design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle WACS solutions for our utility clients. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into functional designs, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. This role requires a strong understanding of Oracle WACS and the unique business processes of utility companies related to work and asset management.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with utility business stakeholders (operations, field crews, asset managers, engineers) to understand their needs and translate them into detailed functional requirements for Oracle WACS.
- Develop functional design documents, including process flows, use cases, data mappings, and integration specifications
- Design and configure Oracle WACS to meet specific utility business processes and requirements :
- Asset management : Record asset acquisition, maintenance, procurement, installation, and removal
- Project management : Create and update projects and tasks
- Inventory management : Manage inventory and resources
- Financial tracking : Track costs, accounting, and financial transactions
- Construction Work Management functionality that provides a comprehensive set of processes to facilitate the management of construction work.
- Asset data visualization : Visualize asset data
- Automated maintenance : Perform automated situational-based maintenance.
- Configure and customize Oracle WACS, including setting up work order types, asset hierarchies, resource availability, scheduling rules, and mobile workflows.
- Design and implement integrations between Oracle WACS and other utility systems (e.g., GIS, CIS, MDM, ERP).
- Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, user acceptance testing) and ensure the quality of the implemented solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support for Oracle WACS implementations.
- Participate in project planning and execution, contributing to project timelines and deliverables.
- Collaborate with technical teams (developers, architects) to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for Oracle WACS implementations within the utilities sector.
