Geotechnical Senior Staff Geologist/Engineer Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geotechnical Senior Staff Geologist/Engineer to join our team at Converse Consultants in State College, PA.
Responsibilities:
- Lead geotechnical projects from start to finish
- Manage project teams and ensure successful project delivery
- Perform site investigations and collect data
- Write comprehensive geotechnical reports
- Develop and maintain knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Conduct soil and rock laboratory testing
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in geology, geotechnical engineering, or soil mechanics
- Minimum 5 years of geotechnical consulting experience
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A good driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier
