WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be part of the Digital Design & Merchandising, Product Creation, Planning, and Manufacturing Technology team at Converse. You will take direction and work primarily with the Product Creation team, supporting our FlexPLM solution. As a team, we regularly interact with Product Creation business stakeholders globally, as well as product and engineering peers to ensure we are aligning technology outcomes and solutions with prioritized initiatives.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an experienced FlexPLM Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our FlexPLM engineering team, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of FlexPLM solutions and capabilities, as well as data integration requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.
- The role is for local candidates to our Boston, MA, or Beaverton, OR, Atlanta, GA office, with the expectation of monthly visits to our HQ for events or meetings
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science or a combination of relevant education, training, and experience.
- 5 - 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and / or retail industry
- PTC FlexPLM Certification is a plus
- 5 years of experience with FlexPLM. VibeIQ experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, and Hibernate. Python experience a plus
- Experience with web services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong understanding of database design and data modelling
- Experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS and Azure) and data integration tools, such as AWS Glue, S3, DynamoDB & Lambdas, or Azure Data Factory
- Experience with IT service management tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, etc.
- Experience with Jenkins and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, as well as other CI / CD tools like GitLab CI / CD, CircleCI
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across different time zones
- Ability to lead and mentor junior team members
