Job Description
Responsibilities:
· Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine accurate cost estimates
· Prepare detailed take-offs and material quantities for bidding purposes
· Learn and use ACCUBID/TRIMBLE estimating software for creating cost estimates
· Research and gather pricing information from suppliers and subcontractors
· Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop accurate cost estimates
· Utilize CRM (contact relationship software) to track and manage estimates
· Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and codes, such as NEC (National Electrical Code)
· Collaborate with Preconstruction team to develop comprehensive project proposals
Requirements:
· Previous experience in electrical construction or service industry
· Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices.
· Willingness to learn estimating software and tools.
· Use of Microsoft Office programs and software (Word, Excel, Office .. etc.)
· Understanding of computer file structures, moving files, folders etc.
· Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
· Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications is REQUIRED.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
· Ability to meet deadlines.
