Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The role involves providing essential support to patients and assisting medical staff in delivering quality care.
Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Help patients with mobility and transfers
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
- Support medical staff with procedures and treatments
- Update and maintain patient medical records
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
Requirements
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant
- Knowledge of basic life support procedures
- Experience in caregiving, preferably in a Level I Trauma Center or similar setting
- Familiarity with medical equipment such as DME
- Understanding of anatomy and ability to recognize changes in patient conditions
- Proficiency in taking vital signs accurately
- Experience in outpatient, assisted living, or home community care is a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $31.00 - $31.25 per hour
