Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Assist in dialysis procedures
- Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings
- Implement infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
- Perform toddler care, dementia care, and behavioral health interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate medical records using Cerner or similar electronic health record systems
- Support occupational health programs within the facility
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in good standing
- Experience administering injections and conducting patient assessments
- Knowledge of coding principles for accurate documentation
- Familiarity with occupational health practices and protocols
- Proficiency in infection control procedures
- Ability to handle various patient populations including toddlers, individuals with dementia, and those requiring behavioral health support
