CAD Drafter

Must have Skills if any:

• 3 years of experience in CAD design, preferably in metal fabrication or a related industry

Summary

We're seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our engineering team. As a CAD Drafter, you will play a critical role in transforming concepts into reality, working closely with our engineers and designers to create precise and detailed designs that meet our high standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Create and modify 2D and 3D designs using computer-aided design software (CAD) for metal fabrication projects
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and specifications
• Develop and maintain detailed technical drawings, models, and documentation
• Conduct design reviews and quality checks to ensure accuracy and precision
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, design trends, and emerging technologies

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in CAD design, preferably in metal fabrication or a related industry
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD (2D), SolidWorks, or similar)
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, drafting techniques, and manufacturing processes
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, drafting) preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,922.00 - $60,000.00 per year
