JOB SUMMARY

ConveyTech is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in conjunction with leadership. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and financial strategies as well as tracking marketing effectiveness for both new accounts and established accounts within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies. This role requires a hands-on approach to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning :

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives to drive revenue growth.
  • Facilitate the implementation of the regional sales programs
  • Establish sales objectives by projecting expected sales volume and forecasting and developing sales quotas for territories and the region
  • Develop and implement new programs, sales initiatives and strategies to capture key accounts

Sales Management :

  • Establish sales objectives by projecting expected sales volume and forecasting and developing sales quotas for territories and the region
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Development :

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and address client needs and concerns effectively.
  • Recommend service and product enhancement to improve the sales potential and customer satisfaction
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the company’s relationship with them
  • Collaboration :

  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales strategies with broader company initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets and forecast sales.
  • Develop and maintain channels between product developers and resellers
  • Provide the necessary support to cross-functional sales associates to enable them to generate market leads and close new deals
  • Market Analysis :

  • Conduct thorough market research to assess competitive landscape and identify growth opportunities.
  • Adapt sales strategies based on market dynamics and customer feedback.
  • Reporting and Analysis :

  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on sales performance, trends, and forecasts.
  • Utilize data analysis to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies.
  • Document customer interactions and maintain data related to activities, accounts and partners
  • Training and Development :

  • Maintain technical and professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in professional societies and establishing personal networks
  • Keep current with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand and competitors to maintain sales volume and product mix.
  • Compliance and Ethics :

  • Embrace and work in a manner that is in alignment with the ConveyTech core values
  • Ensure that all sales activities comply with company policies, legal standards, and ethical practices.
  • Promote a culture of integrity and transparency within the sales team.
  • Budget Oversight :

  • Manage the regional sales budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation to maximize profitability.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales capacity
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience with at least one of the following industries, Freight and Parcel Industry or Distribution and Fulfilment
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel as required
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years in a managerial sales role
  • 5 years of industry experience with at least one of the following industries, Freight and Parcel Industry or Distribution and Fulfilment
